After the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union, the primary problem caused to passenger air transport from the day of the withdrawal could be that the legal background for flights to and from the UK will have been clarified only partly for the transitional period, and so flight cancellations might occur. Currently, in the event of flight cancellation, passengers are entitled to compensation and assistance under the general rules of EC Regulation No. 261/2004.

We ask everyone who has already bought or is planning to buy tickets for flights to or from the United Kingdom after the day of the withdrawal to continuously check the airline’s website, announcements and general conditions of carriage, because they may publish the consequences and regulations which need to be applied.
